Executive VP of Operations
As joint owner and President, Barbara Jones is the detail person of the ownership team at Georgetown Mortgage. In 2001 Barbara and Roy moved to Georgetown Texas and opened a predecessor version of the company. Barbara acted as the operations manager in the early days, and was heavily involved in making certain that our loans closed on time. Today, Barbara works in an administrative capacity especially in the areas of onboarding, expense controls, and helps to promote our company’s ‘family culture.’
Chief Financial Officer
Michael attended Baylor University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master in Taxation. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Dallas to start a career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), LLP, a leading global accounting firm. Throughout his tenure at PwC, Michael learned how to deliver a 1st class experience to his clients, many of which are listed on the Fortune 500 and he developed a knack for exceeding client expectations.
CR2 – Communication, Relationship and Resolution Manager
We believe that a company is defined by its culture – so much so that we created an entire department passionately dedicated to improving communication, building relationships and finding timely problem resolution. With over 20 years in the mortgage business, Donna Fisher leads our HR and Onboarding teams in supporting New Hires as well as doting on our existing GTM family! CR2 also oversees company events, makes company travel arrangements and promotes a FUN work environment for our corporate employees. In addition, they provide support to other departments and branches while also working closely with the Operations and Sales Teams to meet the needs of our Regional and Branch Managers, Loan Officers, customers and referral partners. Donna also serves as an Executive Manager and operates within the CEO’s office to provide immediate assistance.
Vice President of IT
It’s partially human and partially technology when we talk about Matt Wilson and the employees in our IT department. We were able to persuade Matt to join us after spending 12 years working with IT systems of Austin Community College. It may surprise you to know that the mortgage industry is woefully unprepared for computer hackers and the theft of borrower information. Matt and his team have worked diligently to harden our systems to thwart such cyber-attacks. Matt is always raising the bar to keep GTM in an above-average stance regarding our Competition. We have disaster recovery plans in place and backup systems to avoid downtime.
Vice President of Compliance
Our Vice President of Compliance Linda Preece, joined the Georgetown family in June of 2010 and has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She has held every job role there is including time spent as an underwriting manager as well as a loan originator. Linda has a broad understanding of all aspects of the business which serves our organization with practical solutions to the complicated maze of regulations which threaten the timely closing of loans. Making sense of industry regulations is a strong advantage that Georgetown Mortgage possesses, thanks to Linda’s helpful oversight.
